Jean-François has been a founding partner and senior business consultant at Energinvest since 2009 and chairman of the management committee of Belesco asbl (Belgian ESCO association) from 2010 to 2023. He has proven expertise in developing and implementing innovative financing mechanisms, instruments and/or schemes to carry out large-scale, long-term energy efficiency and renewable energy investment programmes on behalf of public or private institutions. He provides strategic and financial advice on the development of programmes, integrated support services, investment platforms and/or financing instruments dedicated to energy efficiency, as well as assistance with their implementation.  

From 2020 to 2023, he organised national round tables on financing energy efficiency in Portugal, Cyprus, Malta, Ireland and Belgium, in the framework of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums initiative. In 2023, he organised a series of pan-European webinars dedicated to the promotion of the ELENA technical assistance instrument.
