Lieven Vanstraelen is Senior Partner atEnerginvest and President of BELESCO, the Belgian ESCO association, since 2010.Before creating Energinvest, he was for 6 years CEO of Fedesco, the firstBelgian public One-stop-Shop. He is an expert in Energy Performance Contracting(EPC) and Energy Performance Partnership (PPP). From 2006 to 2015, he wasmember of the DSMIV Task 16 expert group on Competitive Energy Services at theInternational Energy Agency (IEA). Prior to his work in energy transition, heworked for 10 years in the European telecommunications sector. He is,since 2022, senior consultant on the Belgian government’s DRFM project.
