About
Claire joined Energy Cities in 2014, after 10 years as Secretary General of Housing Europe, the federation of social housing providers. She previously worked on social innovation projects at the European Commission and as a project manager at the European Women’s Lobby.
At Energy Cities, she is part of the Overall Coordination team, where she is responsible for EU policy and strategic partnerships. She holds a degree in Economics and completed postgraduate studies in European policies in Strasbourg, following a year of econometrics in Mainz, Germany.
Energy Cities believes in and promotes a “democracy of doing”. Sharing cities’ experiences of transformation and their efforts to live within planetary boundaries is a strong lever for change, and this is what motivates Claire’s work.
