EEFFRB (Energy Efficiency Finance Facility for Residential Buildings) is a European Investment Bank ELENA-supported project delivered by BNP Paribas Bank Polska to accelerate energy renovation in Poland’s residential sector. By combining finance with technical assistance for housing associations, the project helped unlock refurbishment works through energy audits, technical documentation, and expert support. Between 2019 and 2024, it supported the renovation of 589 multi-apartment buildings, mobilised more than EUR 56 million in investment, and achieved average energy savings of around 45% across the portfolio.
