Mathieu Daloze is a Policy Officer at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER), working on energy efficiency policy and financing. His work focuses on energy efficiency financing, the energy performance of buildings, project development assistance and financing instruments.

Before joining DG ENER, he worked in external relations at the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA), where he managed large investment and infrastructure programmes in energy, construction and urban development.

He holds a master’s degree in architecture and worked for ten years as an architect in the private sector.
